This week has been a very busy week for us all! We are finishing our final Benchmark Test today.
As a math class, we were also assigned the computer lab to work on Compass Odyssey. All students at this time should have completed the FCAT Prep Number Sense and Algebraic Thinking Tests in the FCAT Prep folders. Now that the tests are completed, the program has created a specific learning path based on the results of the individual student score. Now it is each students responsibility to work on those learning paths independently for homework. This is what they should be working on for 60 minutes a week. Again, the 60 minutes is due by midnight every Friday night and the new week begins Saturday morning. The learning paths provide interactive tutorials teaching students the concepts with which they need help.
REMINDER: Student homework has been given as a review for both Pre-Algebra and Algebra students. If a student is having difficulty with an assignment, they will have an opportunity to get help on the day the assignment is due as well as additional help thereafter.
